Celebration of Life for Denny Martyn (October 17, 2021)

Join the MoJacks and Denny’s family in tribute at the October 17th home game. Game time is 7:25 pm to accommodate the Celebration of Life happening between 1:00-4:00pm. Details below.

Denny will be sadly missed by the MoJacks.  He was an integral member of the team as the Equipment Manager for the Port Perry MoJacks for 43 years.

Denny always had a special connection with the MoJacks players.

Obituary:

After a short illness on Wednesday, September 29, 2021, at the Lakeridge Health Centre in Bowmanville, at age 76. Denny Martyn of Blackstock, beloved husband of Anne (nee Lynch). Loved father of Rob & Kate, Steve & Lisa, and Brian & Lindsay. Loving grandfather of Taylor, Alexia, Cadence, Cormack, and Bryson. Dear brother of Mildred Nokes, Joanne Brethour and Jim Martyn. A gathering to celebrate the life of Denny Martyn will be held on Sunday, October 17th from 1 – 4 p.m. at the Nestleton Community Centre, Hwy 7A in Nestleton. In accordance with the directives provided by the Bereavement Authority of Ontario wearing of masks or face coverings by everyone is mandatory. Private interment Pine Grove Cemetery in Prince Albert. If desired, memorial donations may be made by cheque to the Port Perry MoJacks Hockey Club.
