The Port Perry Junior Hockey franchise entered the league in 1972 as the Flamingos. The club changed their name to MoJacks to reflect the sponsorship from Mother Jackson’s Open Kitchens, who have supported the team financially since its inception. The sponsorship is likely unmatched in junior hockey.

As a community-sponsored team run by volunteers, the MoJacks are rich in history – priding themselves on developing young men and hockey players using strong partnerships with both Durham College and UOIT.

The MoJacks play out of the Orr Division in the Eastern Conference of the Provincial Junior Hockey League (PJHL). A branch of the Ontario Hockey Association, the PJHL was formed to amalgamate all eight Junior C divisions under one umbrella. The Jacks home arena is the Scugog Memorial Arena in Port Perry. Home games are typically on Sunday afternoons at 2:25 PM. We’d love to see you there!
